Flashbang is a creative production company that works like a collective: designers, photographers, musicians, and filmmakers taking ideas from set to screen. Its old site showed none of that—dated identity, weak copy, none of the energy the team brings to a shoot. They wanted something modern, built with the same level of craft they bring to the work.
THE CHALLENGE
A production company is judged on taste before anything else, and Flashbang’s was invisible online. The category made it worse: everyone had converged on the same restrained, elegant, forgettable look. Building a site as pretty as everyone else’s would have been the safest way to stay invisible.

THE SOLUTION
I reviewed more than forty direct competitors before drawing a single screen. The pattern held across all of them, which told me exactly what not to do. So the site goes in the opposite direction: tall typography, high-contrast color, constant movement, and navigation that stays out of the way so the work can fill the screen. I designed and built it in Framer on a CMS robust enough for the way Flashbang actually works: services split across photo, video, and events, with each project carrying its own raw footage and stills. The team can publish an entire shoot without calling a designer.
THE OUTCOME
Approved in the first round and live ever since.
Enough about me. Let’s talk about your next move.
